“ Sunday brunch was epic. Get the Americana burger one of the best in SF with roasted onions and crispy onions on the side. Also get the toasted French toast and the banana cake with mascarpone and chocolate. Servers very helpful, vibrant vibe, nice crowds. Highly recommended. Parking can be tricky but youll probably find something if your circle for 5 mins or so. ”
“ That was a really good burger and fries. I wish they had more soda drink options since I dont drink alcohol. The banana bread melt with hot chocolate was a unique dessert that I really enjoyed. Service was fast and bathrooms were clean. ”
“ First time trying this place, everyone was very friendly and nice. Space was a bit cramped, but we liked the decor. We got the Burger, and the chilaquiles plus two drinks. Drinks were very strong, 1 on that. Burger was also good, but the chilaquiles were a bit cold and flavor was a bit bland. We probably would come back just for the drinks. Overall we had a good time! ”
“ Great Experience at Causwells in San Franciscos Marina District! Our dinner experience at Causwells was truly unforgettable. Despite being extremely busy, the staff accommodated us without a reservation, which was a great start to the evening. The food was simply amazing! We ordered the doublepatty hamburger, kale salad, and banana bread dessert. The hamburger was to die for juicy, fresh, and expertly prepared with homemade bread and crispy onions. The kale salad was equally impressive, with pumpkin, and pear. It was a delightful combination of flavors and textures. Our server was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had a great dining experience. Prices were very reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Causwells ”
“ My husband and I came into the city for date night and settled on dining at Causwells. They are definitely our new favorite spot! All of the staff are friendly, we were shown to our seats with menus set. Our sever was extremely kind and attentive. We ordered poke to share, as well as the 100 layer potatoes and brussel sprouts. We also had the crispy chicken sandwich and the cavatelli everything was absolutely delicious. Our only real regret about dinner was not ordering dessert! well definitely be coming here again. ”
“ Why is the burger 19.99 on the menu, instead of 20? is the first thing we asked our waiter. Because the chef absolutely refused to sell a 20 burger was his reply Given that some burgers in the city are now over 30 were looking at you, Nopa , we appreciated the cheeky way to try and keep prices affordable. All the same, the burger was worth every cent we paid! The flavors were balanced, meat high quality, and service timely. The real highlight was the side of crispy onion strings. Wow! They were unlike any other battered onion Ive had before incredibly light and crispy and not at all overpowering on the onion flavor you can still kiss your cutie after eating these!. They were served in a massive HEAP with more than enough to share with another. The restaurant was very sophisticated with a modern artdeco atmosphere peep the cool peacocks in the wallpaper!. Would be a cute place to grab a drink, or to sit outside on a warm night while all the shoppers walk around Chestnut Street. Will be coming by here again soon! ”
“ Sat at the bar in a party of 3 directly across from the kitchen. We could have easily been overlooked in the flurry of orders and needs of other guests but the staff checked in on us countless times throughout our meal. I lost track but I think it was something like 7 unique people asked us if we had everything we needed during our meal. Service was fantastic by my standards. The food was great as well! I dont know if the breakfast jambalaya is the right name for the jambalaya with a fried egg on top, but it was very well seasoned mild heat, and their superb in house hot sauce lets you dial in how spicy you want it! Atmosphere was lively but not annoying or uncomfortable even at the busy part of the bar. Great place to eat and all the staff were topnotch. Will be back to try the new seasonal specials later in the month! ”
“ The burger was quite goodmaybe not the best Ive ever had, as some have claimed, but still a solid A. The updated menu features some enticing options, and a few people in my group tried a new pasta dish that they really enjoyed. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and impressively quickalmost too quick, likely due to the tight seating arrangements, which make the space feel a bit cramped. I wouldnt normally complain about service being too fast, but if youve ever felt rushed through a meal, youll know what I mean. While it was a good experience overall, with so many dining choices in San Francisco, Id say this was a oneanddone visit for me. ”
